BARNTON boss Steve Lloyd will tell his players to remember what went right during Monday’s derby draw with Winsford when they return to action tomorrow.

The Villagers head to Nelson buoyed by ending a three-match losing run in the North West Counties League top flight.

“We’ll draw on the positives,” said the former Rudheath Social manager.

“We’ve another point on the board, and these players have the right mentality to take what happened on the chin and go all out in our next game.”

His side established a two-goal lead at Barton Stadium thanks to strikes either side of the interval from Chris Smith and Lee Vaughan.

However they had to settle for a share of the spoils after replies from Steve Jenyons and Kyle Riley, who converted a penalty, secured a tie for Blues.

He may have to shuffle his squad for a trip to Lancashire on Saturday.

Defensive duo Ryan Broadhead and Ben Potter will be given until the latest possible moment to prove their fitness, but Adam Coleman is banned following his dismissal in a 1-0 win at Cammell Laird last month.

Chris Quirk and Jon Shakeshaft are both unavailable, while Wade Muscart is pushing for a return to the starting line-up.
