Why should I watch..?
Goals are guaranteed.
1874 Northwich haven’t played out a 0-0 draw in almost a year – a stalemate at Ashton last April – while Padiham have one to their name this term.
In Matthew Beadle and Aaron Taylor, the teams possess two of the top-flights in-form strikers.
Trying to stop them will be Greg Hall and Michael Donlon, possibly two of the best goalkeepers in the league.
Numbers game
Padiham are one of the Premier Division’s form teams after avoiding a defeat in each of their past half-dozen matches.
A 2-1 win against AFC Darwen on Easter Monday marks the first time this term the Storks have collected maximum points from successive league matches.
1874 have scored in each of their past 18 North West Counties League fixtures, although they have failed to win in any of the past three away from Barton Stadium.
Man to keep an eye on
Matthew Beadle
As 1874’s leading scorer perhaps an obvious choice, but he has found the net in each of their past four matches to increase his goal tally for the campaign to 23 in all competitions.
The forward also bagged a brace in a thrilling return match between the teams back in October, which 1874 won 5-4.
