Why should I watch..?
It’s a contest that guarantees goals; Droylsden can’t keep clean sheets, and Albion have the best attack of sides currently residing in the Division One North’s bottom half.
Carl Macauley’s men, boosted by the return of goalkeeper Danny Roberts and striker Alex Titchiner’s recovery from injury, have won back-to-back matches in the seven days.
Mind you, that’s a feat their guests this weekend can match.
Numbers game
Witton have scored in all of their home fixtures this season against teams from the bottom half of the table.
Droylsden have conceded a goal in every away match this season, which explains in part why only back-marker New Mills have a worse defensive record.
Man to keep an eye on
Jeff King
The former Ashton United winger has made an impression during his first week at Witton.
A discrete debut against Scarborough last Saturday was followed by him scoring an equaliser during Tuesday’s 2-1 success when Farsley Celtic visited Wincham Park.
Able to cut inside and shoot, or pass, with his preferred right foot, could distract defenders’ attention away from Danny Andrews.
