FASHION styles are constantly changing - but not always for the better!

Glasgow has staged many fashion shows over the years, displaying what's hot - and what's not - in the rag trade.

The main hall of the Frasers store in Buchanan Street provided an impressive venue for a display of styles in 1968.

The store was packed, mainly with female shoppers anxious to see what they could purchase.

By the look of the number of jackets and hats on display in the audience, warm clothing was going to be a big seller - it was September in Glasgow after all!
