Snape snares treble in Sue Baker Cup
TITLE hopefuls George & Dragon played out a goalless draw with defending champions Pockets in the Mid Cheshire Sunday League’s Premier Division at the weekend.
In the Sue Baker Cup, Steve Snape’s treble helped Lion Moulton to a 5-1 win against Cricketers Arms.
Saxons surprised top-flight outfit Broadhurst, with Craig Dixon claiming a brace in a 3-0 victory, while Dean Jones’ double helped Old Star to edge out Knights Grange.
Steve Jenyons was another to score twice, this time for Knutsford Shaw Heath in a 6-0 thrashing of Broken Cross.
