Match pointers
WITTON attempt to win three successive league matches for the first time this season when they play a maiden competitive fixture against Stourbridge on Saturday.
Albion, victors at Marine on New Years’s Day, have now won five of their past eight Premier Division games.
They have kept clean sheets in their past two as well.
At the other end of the pitch, Witton have failed to score in a third of 15 away matches to date and only one team, Workington, have a lower goals per game average on the road.
Tony Sullivan’s side will again be without Sam Barnes, who is on holiday, so are likely to be unchanged.
Stourbridge have failed to win any of their past three league games, losing 3-0 away to Rushall on Thursday.
The Glassboys are one of the best teams in the division on home turf though; only two visitors – Curzon Ashton and Barwell – have left the War Memorial Ground with maximum points.
They are unbeaten too in front of their own fans in five games, winning four of them, against teams currently in the table’s bottom half.
