WINNINGTON Park, emphatic victors by 157 runs at home to Prestbury, have maximum points after three games in Division Two.

New overseas signing Jordan Daly (91 off 88 balls, including 10 fours) continues to impress at the crease, building partnerships with Ben Coulbeck (27) and Sam Barnes (32) as the hosts totalled 208-7 at the Rec.

Prestbury never recovered from losing their first three batsmen for ducks, falling to 6-4 during a devastating opening spell from Iain Connor (3-6).

Phill Amatiello (3-2) impressed too as the visitors folded for 51.

“Jordan has made adapting to new conditions look easy,” reflected captain Alec Butcher.

“His fantastic knock gave our bowlers plenty of confidence to attack from the first ball; Iain [Connor] and Phill [Amatiello] were superb.”

Tom Hughes (21no) hit a six to secure an eight-wicket win for Kingsley at Cheadle Hulme Ladybridge.

He was at the crease with Brent Hartley, who struck a run-a-ball 40, when the visitors celebrated their first win of the campaign.

Hartley (4-41) and Steve Kitchen (4-26) made the most of an indifferent track to knock over the hosts for 98.

Barnton sit second in Division One after enjoying the better of a draw at Disley.

Adam Garrod turned the game his side’s way, taking 3-19 to halt the home team’s progress after they had been set a target of 193.

Cory Devanny (2-47) had struck twice in as many overs earlier on, including the wicket of captain Andrew Clarke (43).

Disley’s innings closed on 147-7.

Simon Hancock decided to bat after winning the toss, although a firm wicket was slower than he anticipated.

Paul Coot (47) batted patiently, sharing in a 68-run partnership with Jordan Cobley (62).

The youngster also added 50 with Devanny (43) before Barnton stuttered to 192-9.
