DANNY Leech and Jonny Kettle put on 153 for the first wicket as Oulton Park cruised to a convincing six wicket victory against title pretenders Alderley Edge at Little Budworth.

Leech (81) and Kettle (75) laid the foundations as the hosts closed on 235-4, reaching their target with seven overs to spare.

Earlier Alderley Edge had declared on 234-9, Simon Marshall top scoring with 42 while Oulton Park captain Nathan Dumelow returned 4-39.

Points: Oulton Park 20, Alderley Edge 10.

THERE's no stopping Tattenhall in Division Two as they recorded their third win to surge 13 points clear.

They made short work of Winnington Park - who drop to the foot of the table - with an eight wicket victory at the Recreation Ground after dismissing their hosts for 95.

Only Greg McKeown (26no) offered any resistance as his partnership with James Cowell pushed the score up from 50-6.

Trinidad paceman Damien Lewis added figures of 7-37 to the 9-52 with which he opened the season against Middlewich.

John Hope's unbeaten 60 then helped the visitors to 97-2, Aussie import Sean O'Neill claiming both wickets thanks to stunning catches by Simon Newall and Glinoj Cherian.

Points: Winnington Park 1, Tattenhall 25.

BURNAGE registered a maiden victory with a 79-run win at home to Middlewich.

Good batting from Riswan Baig (76) helped the hosts declare at 227-9, Stuart Price claiming 6-46, to which Middlewich replied with 148, Sabtain Baig (5-40) and Rashid Pervez (4-33) the pick of the bowling attack.

Phil Parry (31), Neil Webb (26) and captain Chris Broomfield (21) were the only batsmen to get starts.

Points: Burnage 25, Middlewich 8.
