CHAMPIONS Oulton Park ensured that Hyde's poor start continued with a comfortable six-wicket win in their Premier Division clash at Werneth Low.
Batting first, the home side declared on 180-9 with Josh Farmer top scoring with 32.
Oulton had elevated 17-year-old left arm spinner Craig Williamson from the 2nd XI and he repaid the selectors with a fine 5-43 return.

MIDDLEWICH chalked up their maiden victory of the campaign in Division Two at the expense of neighbours Winnington Park at Haddon Field.
Park skipper Dave Hines struck 70 of Park's 167-9 as they batted first after winning the toss.
Earlier, opening bowlers Stuart Price and Phil Parry had restricted the visitors to 33-1 after 16 overs.
The double introduction of Phil Davies (2-28) and Jon Shepherd (1-39) prompted wickets to fall a little more regularly with help from Tom Gledhill (1-18) and comebacks from Parry (3-22) and Price (1-28).
Opening batsmen Andy Cole (58) and David Bates (45) constructed a match-winning opening stand of 101 in the first 28 overs, leaving James Cornford (45no) and Neil Webb to take Middlewich over the line at 170-3.
"This win puts us back in contention after two disappointing results in our first two matches," said skipper Chris Broomfield afterwards.
"I hope it signals the start of a change in fortune for us."
