IT has not taken reigning champions Oulton Park long to get back into the groove, their seven-wicket victory over Urmston at Little Budworth being achieved with 20 overs to spare.
Urmston declared on 128-9 off 55 overs after left arm spinner Chris Jones had claimed a hat-trick in his 3-22 return.
Allen (41) top scored for Urmston, whose batting has yet to fire.

THE highest individual score of the season so far came from the bat of Winnington Park's talented Geelong U21s captain Sean O'Neill with an unbeaten 145 against Sale at the Recreation Ground.
Park declared on 232-6 after O'Neill had scored the bulk of 72 runs added off the last five overs. Glenoj Cherian chipped in with a useful 20.
"Sean is something special, his batting was simply a different class," said admiring Park chairman Ian Johns.
Previously Sale had bettered this score and Park skipper David Hine knew his side would have to bowl and field brilliantly to have any chance of victory.
Cowell once more lead the attack, taking two wickets, as the visitors quickly fell behind the required run rate.
They replied with 168-7, John Taylor hitting 46.
Points: Winnington Park 14, Sale 9.
AFTER their blank start seven days earlier, Stockport Georgians' batsmen clicked into form against Middlewich at Cromley Road.
They posted a score of 216-6, Mark Vincent unbeaten on 68.
Middlewich gave chase with an unbeaten 35 from Steve Price and 34 from David Bates before closing on 202-8 to take a share of the spoils.
