HARTFORD could not humble winless Offerton but stay top of Division One.
Half centuries from in form Jonny Phillips (66) and Matt Shinkfield (51no) helped the Grange Park outfit to 198-5 after skipper Gareth Stokes had won the toss.
Geoff Sharp (24) shared an 80-run first wicket stand with Phillips.
Three overs were lost to rain after tea, although Offerton did not fancy the fight after they were quickly reduced to 3-3.
Failing light forced the seamers out of the attack and Hartford's spinners struggled to keep up the momentum as the game closed in a disappointing draw.
Conditions improved enough for Josh Spruce (5-35) to return and claim his first five-wicket haul for the club as Offerton reached 136-7.
