Cookson names Federation squad

GARY Cookson has shuffled his pack ahead of Mid-Cheshire's Federation clash with Ormskirk later this month.

The team manager includes a clutch of Winsford favourites in his home side to play at Meadow Bank, where Wharton Cons' Ashley Blackburn will keep his place after a promising debut against Preston last time out.

Two new names - Winnington Park duo Steve Baskerville and Adi Faulkner - feature for the first time among the reserves.

There are only three changes in the starting list for the away leg at Scarisbrick NSC as Colin Peters (Comberbach), Glynn Walton (Spinner and Burgamot) and Kevin Duncalf (Beech Tree) switch from last time's homesters.

Mid-Cheshire face Ormskirk at Meadow Bank on Sunday, May 25, from 2pm.
