Final rerun for holders

FRODSHAM Red Lion A launch their bid for a third successive Littler Cup success on Monday.

And the first round draw has thrown up a repeat of last year's final as they face Section Two outfit Barnton CC A at Moulton RBL.

The holders, off scratch, must overcome a 42-chalk deficit.

The Mid-Cheshire Bowling Association's other big guns, Castle Private A and Wharton Cons A, have byes to the second stage along with Kelsall C, Spinner and Burgamot, Hartford B, Davenham B, Rudheath A, Castle Private D, Norley, Bunbury, Winsford Cons B, Castle Private C, Meadow Bank B, Winnington Park Rec B, Comberbach A and Winsford Cons A.

Last season's cup kings Slow and Easy A, now in Section Two, take on fourth tier Crowton at Winnington Park.

The first round takes place next Monday, April 21 and Tuesday, April 22.

All matches start at the new agreed time of 6.30pm.
