MID-CHESHIRE Ladies Bowling League’s representative team returns to action against Shropshire this weekend hoping to repeat an opening day victory.
They ran out 432-367 winners against Lancashire, a margin of 65 chalks.
“Let’s hope we can keep it up,” said league secretary Lyn Rankin.
Sunday’s home leg is at Acton Bridge venue Hazel Pear, where play starts at 2pm.
The away team head to Shrewsbury on a bus that leaves the memorial hall in Northwich at midday.
Supporters are welcome to travel with the team.
