MID-CHESHIRE launch their British Crown Green Ladies Bowling Association (BCGLBA) County Championship campaign tomorrow, Sunday.
They take on Lancashire.
The home leg is at Comberbach Bowling Club, while the away team travel to Turton.
Cheshire, Greater Manchester and Shropshire complete the group.
Meanwhile Mid-Cheshire Ladies League Team Knockout winners Norley bowed out of the British Club Championship at the first round stage last weekend.
They followed a victory against Amasal (South Staffordshire) in the opening rubber by back-to-back defeats against eventual runners-up Acocks Green (Warwickshire) and Marehay (South Derbyshire).
Cheshire representatives St Oswald’s ran out victors in the final, at Todmorden’s Centre Vale Park, by a margin of two chalks.
