CASTLE Private’s Adrian Faulkner will make his debut for Cheshire at Davenham this weekend, when they take on Merseyside in the Endsleigh Senior County Championship.
Another newcomer, Comberbach bowler Matthew Thurlwell, keeps his place after playing in county colours for the first time in last month’s reverse against South Yorkshire.
Faulkner is joined by clubmates Jason Cornes, Andy Hamman, Steve Morrey and Rob Winnington, while Wharton Cons will send Glynn Cookson, Simon Cookson, Daniel Nixon, Thomas Vickers and Shaun Yearsley.
Meanwhile Mid-Cheshire hope to end a sequence of back-to-back defeats when they resume their British Ladies Senior County Championship campaign against Shropshire the same day.
The home leg is at Frodsham Red Lion, from 2pm.
