STELLA Hough and Viv Raddy, from Castle Private, reached the quarter finals of the annual Dorothy Piearce Memorial Pairs at Woodford in Wolverhampton on Saturday.
There they succumbed 21-18 to Wirral tandem Anita Richardson and Lynsey Gorman.
Mid Cheshire Ladies League was represented too by Wharton Cons’ Nicola Boulton and Sue Worrall, who bowed out at the first round stage against Burton and District duo Collette Laboure and Debra Stallard.
