The Vale Royal AC star, running for Cheshire, crossed the line third in the Inter Girls race at the ESAA English Schools' National Cross Country Championships.
She was 20 seconds behind champion Laura Park of Cumbria.

And the 16-year-old's reward is a place in the English Schools AA's team for a home international in Edinburgh on March 29, the day before the World Cross Country Championships on the same course.
Clubmate Megan Huxley finished slightly further down the field than expected, taking 35th position in the Junior Girls category at Liverpool's Sefton Park.
