VALE Royal AC visit counterparts in Ireland to swap training secrets next month.
Athletes have received £2,650 from Vale Royal Borough Council's Putting Vale Royal on the Map scheme to help pay for the trip.
"They have done a lot to raise the profile of the area," said councillor John Grimshaw, executive member for recreation.

"The club may be relatively small but it has earned a reputation internationally for producing first class athletes."
The grant will help more than 40 junior members travel to the Carlingford Mountains where they will train and trade tips with Glenmore Harriers AC.
""It is a gorgeous place," said coach Shaun McGrath, who lived there into his teenage yars.
"We went last year and it was great to see some of the quieter members come out of themselves so I am really pleased we are able to do it again this year."
The club, which boasts more than 300 members, head across the North Sea on April 4 for the three-day trip.
