TWO teams already out of the FA Cup seek a change in fortune when they turn their attention to a different knockout competition tomorrow, Saturday.
Hosts Northwich have had a 10-days break since sharing the spoils with Market Drayton Town, their third attempt without success to win a game at their temporary home in Stafford.
Vics reached the last eight of the FA Trophy last term after a sequence of six successive wins, the highest number in the club’s history in a single edition of the competition since it started.
Their guests Clitheroe lost for the first time this term in the FA Cup at Evo-Stik NPL Division One North rivals Skelmersdale United last weekend.
It marked a maiden match without scoring a goal too.
Manager Paul Moore has strengthened his attack since then with the addition of ex-Winsford forward Daley Woods, who provides support for top scorer Jordan Williams.
