Midfielder Jamie Harrison agrees to return to Witton Albion for a second stint

JAMIE Harrison has signed for Witton for a second time.

The 26-year-old midfielder made a goalscoring return for Albion’s reserves on Thursday, earning a call-up to the squad for Saturday’s FA Cup tie at Burscough.

Harrison scored five goals in 10 starts in league and cup last term, his first full campaign at the Help for Heroes Stadium since switching to Northwich in January 2011.

He adds competition for places in the middle of the pitch after Tom Schofield asked for an opportunity to play first team football elsewhere.

Chris Gahgan is yet to feature this term, while Steven Connors (calf) and Joe Shaw (ankle) have both been out injured.
