Open trial for Albion hopefuls
WITTON host a trial for potential new recruits this Saturday.
Manager Brian Pritchard will run the rule over players who think they are good enough to play for the club on its return to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League’s top tier next term.
The session, at Albion’s Wincham Park home, starts at 1pm.
“It’s something we haven’t tried before so let’s see how it goes,” said Pritchard.
“The trial is open to anybody in the area who wants to show us what they can do.”
Open to players aged 18 and above, Pritchard would prefer that individuals have played previously at professional or semi-professional level.
Those that impress the most could be invited to join the first team when it starts pre-season preparations seven days later.
For further details, call the club on 01606 43008.
