Match pointers
WITTON hope to make it third time lucky when they host Farsley in tomorrow’s Evo-Stik NPL Division One North promotion play-offs semi final.

The visitors took four of the six points on offer from Albion in the teams’ two meetings this term, including a 1-1 draw at the Help for Heroes Stadium last month.

However Brian Pritchard’s men have found top form since then.

The home team is unbeaten in 15 league matches, a sequence stretching back to February 18, with 11 of those ending in victories.

Chris Gahgan and Ashley Stott battle for a place alongside 37-goals top scorer Alex Titchiner in attack, but Liam Newman (hamstring) is ruled out through injury.

In a statistical quirk, visitors Farsley last lost in the league on the same day as Witton.

They are unbeaten in their past dozen outings, winning each of the past six to finish fourth in the final table, nine points adrift of their hosts.

Manager Neil Parsley will wait until the latest possible moment to check on the health of attacking trio Simeon Bambrook, Gareth Grant and Adam Muller, each of which were injured in Saturday’s home win against Ossett Town.

Midfielder Ryan Watson serves a suspension.
