Wait on FA Trophy date (From Northwich Guardian)

Northwich Victoria do not yet have a date for FA Trophy third round encounter

VICS have not yet fixed a date to play their FA Trophy third round tie with Hampton & Richmond Borough.

The contest has been postponed twice, on Saturday and again tonight, Tuesday, due to the playing surface at hosts Macclesfield Town’s Moss Rose home being frozen.

It is not known when, or if, the Silkmen could now host the match.

Awaiting one of those two teams in the competition’s quarter finals will be Blue Square Bet Premier Newport County or Ryman League Premier Division Carshalton, who do play this evening.
