Northwich Victoria's FA Trophy tie with Hampton & Richmond Borough scheduled for Tuesday

NORTHWICH Victoria’s FA Trophy third round date with Hampton & Richmond Borough, scheduled for tomorrow at Macclesfield, has been postponed.

The two teams will now meet at the same venue on Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm.

Referee Rob Merchant inspected the Moss Rose playing surface this afternoon, but judged the frozen pitch unlikely to thaw out in time for the game to be played.

It means Vics will now not play Rushall Olympic in the Doodson Sport Cup in midweek.

No new date for that game has been set yet though.

Northwich Victoria Supporters Trust reported yesterday, Thursday, that a fan had offered to pay for a coach to transport followers for free to Macclesfield.

That bus will leave the memorial hall at 6pm on Tuesday.
