Vics clash with Hednesford called off (From Northwich Guardian)

Northwich Victoria's scheduled Premier Division encounter with Hednesford Town is postponed

NORTHWICH Victoria’s scheduled trip to promotion rivals Hednesford Town tonight, Tuesday, has been called off.

The Pitmen’s Keys Park pitch was judged to be too dangerous to host the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division encounter, leading to its postponement.

No alternative date has yet been fixed.

Vics are due to host East Thurrock United or Hampton & Richmond Borough, who replay their second round tie later, this Saturday in the FA Trophy third round.

However it is not known at this stage where that match will take place after Thor Specialities (UK) Ltd, new owners of the club’s Victoria Stadium home, confirmed another ball would not be kicked there this season.
