Match Pointers
NORTHWICH Victoria make the short trip to neighbours Nantwich Town protecting a perfect record after winning each of their first three Evo-Stik Premier Division matches.

That run marks Vics’ best run of league form under Andy Preece since last September when they won four successive matches in Blue Square North.

But the visitors are likely to be without defensive lynchpin Matthew Brown once more as he battles to overcome a back injury. Keil O’Brien stands by.

Michael Connor and Adam Sumner (both knee) shrugged off niggles to play in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Hucknall Town, but both will face late checks ahead of tomorrow’s match.

Hosts Nantwich have lost all three games in the season’s first seven days – their worst run of form since February.

But the Dabbers have not lost four league matches in a row since March 2005 when they played in the North West Counties League’s Division One.

Player manager Darren Tinson (neck) played through injury in Saturday’s defeat at Stocksbridge Park Steels, but Jake Sedgemore (groin) and Dave Tickle (foot) missed out.

Glyn Blackhurst has not played at all yet this term.
