NORTHWICH Victoria will travel to lower-ranked Salford City in the FA Cup’s first qualifying round next month.
The Evo-Stik Division One North club sank league foes Chorley, who included former Northwich midfielder Jamie Vermiglio in their starting line-up, in the last minute on Saturday.
Rhodri Giggs’ dramatic winner set up a clash with Vics on Saturday, September 11, kick off 3pm.
Chorley custodian Aaron Grundy had saved a penalty before the home team opened the scoring on 56 minutes, only for Jack Dorney to level soon afterwards.
But Magpies defender Andy Russell was then sent off after being booked twice, leaving the visitors to play the final half hour a man short.
Giggs then popped up with the winning goal.
