NORTHWICH Sapphires sent out a warning to their Warrington and District League title rivals after toppling Premier Division leaders Halton last Wednesday.
The victors head to the summit as a reward.
Lauren Watson was picked as Sapphires’ Player of the Match following the 28-13 win, which marked a maiden victory against their Runcorn-based rivals.
