WITH leading scorer Tom Bailey available again, 1874 Northwich’s interim management team have a selection dilemma for the visit of Bootle to Barton Stadium tomorrow.

The front man, who netted a 30th goal of the campaign during a 3-1 win at Padiham last weekend, was missing for the first time when his teammates went down at Ashton Athletic in midweek.

His stand-in, Scott McGowan, scored in that game – his second goal in as many appearances since returning to the club from Premier Division rivals Congleton.

Jason Carey is the other striking option for Paul Bowyer and Wayne Goodison.

The home team will be without wide man Tyler Edwards (groin) through injury, while defender Jack Lever is nursing sore heel.

Sam Hind, also on target at Ashton in midweek, is likely to replace the former.

1874 have midfielder Lee Jones back after he completed a suspension as punishment for his dismissal in a home reverse against Runcorn Linnets last month.

A meeting with the North West Counties League promotion-hopefuls is the club’s 200th competitive fixture since their formation in 2012.

Bootle arrive in Winsford on the back of successive defeats, including a 5-1 drubbing against Prescot in the Liverpool County FA Senior Cup in midweek.
