1874 NORTHWICH have been picked by the North West Counties League as the Premier Division’s club of the month for April.
Ian Street’s men won seven of their nine fixtures, played across 21 days, collecting 22 points along the way.
It was a sequence that secured a third-place finish at the end of their debut season in the competition’s top flight.
They put six goals past Bacup and then Silsden at Barton Stadium, as well as a further four at Nelson on the campaign’s final day.
There were victories too against landlords Winsford, Squires Gate, Congleton and champions Glossop North End.
1874 Northwich also won the monthly award in October.
