Tom Ford retains his place in a men’s four selected for the second World Rowing Cup regatta of a new season at Linz, in Austria.

He is joined by Leander Club teammates James Johnston, Jacob Dawson and Adam Neill, who has recovered from an illness that prevented him from taking part in Belgrade last time out.

The same line-up, with Callum McBrierty taking Neill's seat, classified fifth in the A final after progressing from their heat and semi-final as victors.

Meanwhile Emily Ford, who made her senior international debut earlier this month as part of a women’s pair with Emily Ashford that finished in sixth place, switches to a new-look eight.

Katherine Douglas and Holly Hill make their first appearances of 2018, with only cox Matilda Horn remaining from a silver medal-winning crew in Belgrade.

Becca Chin, Sara Parfett, Caragh McMurtry and Jo Wratten also come in from racing the four.

“It’s great to announce a strong team for the second World Cup off the back of some encouraging results in Belgrade," said Brendan Purcell, British Rowing's director of performance.

"We’re looking to continue building throughout the summer ahead of the European and World Championships.

"With qualification for the Olympic Games taking place at the same venue next year, it also gives us a chance to test the conditions and facilities ahead of that important regatta.”

The British team will be the biggest at the event, which acts as a test for next year's World Championships, with 65 rowers.

Racing begins on Friday week, June 22.

However in a departure from the normal format, the first round of all events will be raced as time-trials.
