Winnington Park's meeting with New Brighton in the Cheshire RFU Bowl final has been rescheduled
WINNINGTON Park’s attempt to win the Cheshire RFU Bowl for a third time has been rearranged for a later date.
They will take on New Brighton, higher-ranked opponents that play in South Lancs/Cheshire Division One, in the final at Birkenhead Park on Monday, May 7.
Kick-off is at 1pm, and their head-to-head precedes the Cheshire RFU Cup showpiece when Caldy meet Sale FC.
The men from Burrows Hill contested last year’s showpiece, when they lost against Hoylake, and have progressed to the same stage again this season following victories against Anselmians (31-24) and Dukinfield (56-14).
