1874 NORTHWICH will attempt to progress in two competitions by winning on a Sunday afternoon.
They have had to negotiate alternative dates for ties in both the FA Cup and FA Vase because fixtures for landlords Winsford United take priority.
That means North Ferriby United, from the National League North, travel to St Luke’s Barton Stadium for an FA Cup second qualifying round clash next Sunday, September 17, kick-off 3pm.
Should the game end in a draw, then a replay follows in East Yorkshire next Tuesday.
At the moment, City of Liverpool are due in town that night to play a North West Counties League Premier Division encounter.
Meanwhile 1874 have confirmed they will host Congleton in the FA Vase second qualifying round on Sunday week, September 24, kick-off 3pm.
They progressed to that stage following an extra-time success at Vauxhall Motors last weekend, while the Bears – now managed by former Northwich boss Ian Street – were comfortable victors at Squires Gate.
1874 currently conclude September with a home game against AFC Darwen six days later.
