Why should I watch..?
All eyes will be on how Witton respond to losing against Shaw Lane, their rivals for the Northern Premier League Division One South title, in midweek.
That reverse leaves them three points adrift of top spot with three matches left.
Whatever happens Albion are guaranteed to finish as runners-up at least, and that grants them home advantage in a promotion play-offs semi-final later this month.
Visitors Stamford arrive in town off the back of a thrilling 4-4 draw at Carlton in midweek, which halted a sequence of three consecutive losses.
Numbers game
After four previous league defeats this term, Witton Albion have responded by winning the next match.
The most recent example of that was a 2-1 victory at Leek that followed an unexpected home reverse – their only one of the campaign to date – against lowly Rugby.
Tomorrow’s visitors, Stamford, have lost only one of their past five fixtures on the road.
Man to keep an eye on
Steven Tames
The versatile attacker has had an outstanding campaign, contributing 14 goals from 31 starts during a loan spell from Stalybridge.
Scored Witton’s first goal, and created the second, during a 2-0 win at Gresley last weekend.
Toiled, like Brad Bauress on the opposite flank, to get into the game against Shaw Lane before he was switched to the centre of attack when Will Jones was withdrawn after the interval.
It was his lay-off from which Paul Williams struck an upright.
Witton team news
Defender Michael Wilson (ankle) failed a fitness test before Tuesday’s narrow single-goal defeat at Shaw Lane.
He has missed the past three matches after sustaining a knock during a 2-0 win against Carlton last month.
Prince Haywood (hamstring) returned in midweek as a second-half substitute.
