SCOTT McGowan is unavailable for 1874 Northwich’s trip to Maine Road in the North West Counties League’s Premier Division tomorrow.

The striker, who has 17 goals to his name this season, is at a wedding.

With Ryan Jackson (knee) and Joe Woolley (hamstring) both ruled out by an injury, manager Ian Street is likely to stick with a side that brushed aside Northwich Victoria in a Cheshire FA Senior Cup tie on Tuesday.

In that game he used Jason Carey and Sam Hind either side of Tom Bailey, who scored both goals in a 2-0 victory, in a front three.

“I knew Scott wouldn’t be around at the weekend so I wanted to look at how we fared without him,” said Street.

He will also check on midfielder Sam Hare, who suffered a cut to his ankle following a heavy tackle in the closing stages of the game against Vics.
