VICTORIA were the most convincing winners during the opening round of a new Mid Cheshire Super League season last week.
A 9-1 success at Raptors, for whom Simon Lafferty recorded a solitary success against Keith Mitchell, sent them to the top of the table.
Tigers proved too strong for Wreckers despite Charlie Ostapski winning two of three singles rubbers for the latter.
Craig Lee claimed a treble for the victors.
Cobras made a swift start in Division Two, seeing off Sticklebacks.
