NORTHWICH Rowing Club crews claimed a clean sweep of the silverware on offer at their annual Autumn Head on Sunday.
The Tim Hooper Trophy for fastest boat to complete a 2,350m course on the River Weaver went to an under 18s boys’ quad made up of George Crouchley, William Miles, Matthew Radford and Tom Swithenbank.
They stopped the clock in 8.10.4.
Rowers wearing green and gold also claimed the Sue Benyon Trophy for quickest women’s crew.
Hannah and Rachel Cooney joined forces with Anya George and Katherine Schofield in an under 18s girls’ quad that reached the finish-line 9.02.0.

The Faith Murray Trophy, awarded to the best under 14s girls’ coxed quad, went to Lucy Church, Honor Campbell, Beth Coffey and Anna Carnell.
Sophie Garlick was their cox, and together they set a time of 10.10.1.
In the morning, eight Northwich rowers claimed category honours in a single scull.
Greg Murphy (IM1), Rhys Coffey (IM2), Matthew Radford (IM3), Kevin Dudley (under 18s boys), Jess Swindells (women’s IM2), Charlotte Almond (women’s novice) and Georgia Shirley (under 16s girls) finished first in their category.
The latter edged Grange School’s Ellie Cushen, who won gold on her debut at the British Rowing Junior Championship last summer.
Beth Willford-Dutton, in Sir John Deane’s College colours, was a comfortable victor in the senior women’s race.
Murphy and Dudley were too fast for their rivals in an under 18s boys’ double scull, while Swithenbank and Miles were the only tandem to dip below nine minutes in an under 16s boys’ double.
Switching back to a Northwich boat, Willford-Dutton helped Almond, Shirley and Imogen Wolstencroft to victory in an IM3 women’s quad.
Four more doubles combinations claimed first prize.
Rachel Cooney and Almond completed a busy afternoon by winning as an IM3 combination, while Hannah Cooney and George beat Shrewsbury to top spot in the under 18s girls age group.
Wolstencroft and Schofield were unchallenged as an under 17s girls partnership, while Shirley and Sophie Gillbanks pipped neighbours Grange School to top spot in the under 16s girls category.
Two masters boats celebrated success as well.
Alison Green and Lesley Teall saw off Ironbridge in a close-fought women’s B double, while Simon Crouchley and Andrew Malins enjoyed a wider margin of victory in a men’s D double.
