STUART Kellett believes his performances deserved more than to miss out on a place at the final two European Tour events of the calendar year.
The Northwich closed to within a game of sealing a spot at the European Darts Grand Prix in September, but was edged out 6-4 by St Helens ace Alan Tabern.
He had earlier beaten Chris Dobey, 17th seed, at the opening stage of a UK qualifier at Barnsley on Friday.
And in a preliminary for the German Darts Championship, held later the same evening, he exited after a 6-3 defeat to in-form youngster Josh Payne.
There was further frustration in the Players’ Championships that followed over the weekend, when the 34-year-old lost in the first round of both.
A 6-2 reverse against Harry Robinson on Saturday was followed by a defeat in a deciding leg 24 hours later when he came face-to-face with Brian Woods.
Kellett currently sits below the top 64 on the Players’ Championship Order of Merit – the cut off for November’s finals.
However there are still six more qualifiers left to play.
Play so well n then more disappointment. It's driving me mad but bed n try again 2moro
