OAKMERE Kats return to league action on Saturday.

The Cheshire Women’s League Division One side visit Wistaston Village on Sunday, then visit Oxton next Tuesday in the Knockout Cup last four.

They enter the schedule on the back of a T20 Western Division loss at Chester Boughton Hall last Tuesday.

Kate Skelhorn (19) and Raffaella Rodighiero (20) scored 75 percent of the runs in reply for Oakmere, who were restricted to scoring five runs in the last 10 overs.

For Chester, Sammi Short’s 4-2 in four overs with two maidens is considered the competition’s performance of the year to date.

Oakmere finished on 50-9, well short of the 89-4 set by Chester when Natalie Lyons took 2-17.
