AFTER a heavy defeat to Yorkshire last time out, Mid Cheshire hope to get their British Ladies’ County Championship campaign back on track this weekend.

The take on Lancashire, opponents who have lost both fixtures to date in the 2016 season.

Four bowlers – Andrea Bell, Vale Dale, Elsie Gribbin and Rose Walker – return to the team for the home leg at Barnton Cricket Club.

Wendy Allen and Sarah Johnson, both members at the Townfield Lane venue, switch from the away side.

Pat Newhouse and Lyn Rankin move the other way.

Pat Kennedy (Wharton Cons) joins them on a trip to Penwortham.

Play at both venues gets under way at 2pm.
