NORTHWICH Victoria have progressed to the FA Cup second round following a replay success at Boreham Wood on Monday night.
Their reward for a 2-1 victory is a trip to League Two Northampton next month.
Jim Gannon's men scored in each half, taking the lead through Jordan Williams before Ryan Astles doubled their advantage with a powerful header shortly after the interval.
Charlie MacDonald's overhead kick for hosts Wood, who play three tiers higher than the Northern Premier League Division One North leaders, arrived too late to alter the outcome.
It marks the fourth time in this season's edition that Vics, who are now the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, have eliminated an opponent from a league above.
On each occasion they have made it through away from home.
