FC St Helens 3 Lostock Gralam 3
LOSTOCK’S lead at the Cheshire League Two summit was cut to two points on Saturday after they shared six goals with newcomers FC St Helens.
The Grey Lambs were two goals adrift before Robbie Jones halved the deficit with a superb header, then Greg Ward finished smartly to restore parity.
They appeared on course for an unlikely victory when Will Reid drilled into the corner, only for the hosts to convert a late penalty to earn a share of the spoils.
AFC Macclesfield are next at Park Stadium this Saturday.
