RAPTORS were the biggest victors when the Mid Cheshire League’s group-stage qualifiers started this week.
Ian Oakes and Alan Darlington both recorded three wins each during an 8-2 success against Cobras.
Elsewhere, Victoria Club and Winstock Wolves registered 6-4 wins against Tigers and Lemmings respectively.
In Group Two, Bears and Vikings started their seasons with slender victories against Snakes and Rangers.
Valiants played out a 5-5 draw with Blades, for whom youngster Adam Ryder was unbeaten.
Matt Lafferty settled in with new team Hawks, helping them to a 7-3 victory at Winsford Locke.
In the remaining match, Falcons beat Kinetics
