LOSTOCK Gralam upset Rudheath Social on Saturday to set up a Mid-Cheshire FA Challenge Cup final with Middlewich Town next month.
The side bottom of Cheshire League One saw off their top flight hosts thanks to goals from James Dean, Jack Barnett, Mike Whitehead and Callum Priestley.
Social did hit back in the first half when Richard Pullar turned Craig Humphries’ cross into his own goal, but keeper Matt Tucker helped maintain the Grey Lamb’ lead thereafter.
Boss Ross Speight said: “We worked incredibly hard and with some stubborn defending we made sure we booked our place in the final.”
