LOSTOCK remain rooted to the bottom of the Cheshire League One table after a defeat at Golborne on Saturday.
Goalkeeper Shaun Bird was beaten by Shaun Walker before the break, while the visitors piled on the pressure afterwards.
However Golborne doubled their lead after an hour through Kieron Eaves, meaning Mathew Hole’s reply was only a consolation.
“Suspensions, injuries and other players being unavailable put us at a disadvantage before we kicked a ball,” said manager Ross Speight.
