BOWLERS will debate the order in which they play their rivals during the Mid-Cheshire Bowling Association’s annual meeting this Friday.

One of the rule changes proposed is league games be played back-to-back –  for example, home to an opponent one week and away to the same one seven days later – instead of splitting the fixture list in half.

Another is for sections other than the top flight to be for teams of 10-a-side.

Cup competitions would revert to the same format if enough clubs back the idea.

Members are scheduled to meet at Owley Wood Recreation Club, in Weaverham, from 7.15pm.
