DOUBLE Paralympic gold medallist Hannah Cockroft visited Hartford Church of England High School last week.
The Youth Sport Trust Ambassador, whose efforts at the London 2012 Paralympic Games saw her win gold in the T34 100 and 200 metres, cast her eye over the Hartford students, who were taking part in a range of athletics events.
The visit came after the school won a photo competition that Cockroft judged during National School Sport Week in June.
Schools were invited to tweet images of the activities they were hosting. A photo of a student taking part in capoeira, the Brazilian martial art featuring elements of dance, acrobatics and music, impressed her the most.
