1874 NORTHWICH presented defibrillators to four junior football clubs during the interval of Saturday’s home date with Nelson at Barton Stadium.
Players and coaches from Davenham, Cuddington and Sandiway, Hartford and Northwich Victoria received the equipment, a gift from the North West Counties League club on the date of their second birthday.
A defibrillator is an electrical device that provides a shock to the heart when there is a life-threatening condition.
“It’s an issue we’re passionate about and a way of us giving something back to the community that has supported us over the past couple of years,” said 1874 Northwich chairman Paul Stockton.
