STEVE Hall will start a second spell with Witton when the season starts next weekend.

The 25-year-old midfielder agreed to sign again for Albion following Saturday’s emphatic 8-1 win at Welsh club Conwy in a friendly, during which he scored four times.

He had featured in the previous three warm-up matches too.

Hall, likely to stand in for Michael Powell while he recovers from a knee injury, made a dozen league starts for the Northwich outfit at the start of the 2009-2010 season when Gary Finley was in charge.

Spells with New Mills, Ashton United and then Droylsden followed before he moved to Canada to play for Brampton United.

He returned briefly to Ashton back in March.

He joins Chris Sanna, Sam Barnes, Michael Lea, Iain Howard, Neil Harvey and Michael Koral as new arrivals at Wincham Park this summer.

Witton start the new Evo-Stik Northern Premier League season at home to Ilkeston on Saturday.
